What is Coolsculpting?
CoolSculpting® is the #1 body contouring system in the world and is an FDA approved treatment for fat cell elimination. CoolSculpting® is cleared to eliminate stubborn fat in 9 different areas: under the jawline, under the chin (double chin), the upper arms, back fat, bra fat, the flank area (love handles), abdomen, thighs, and under the buttocks (banana roll).
It works through a process called cryolipolysis, aka freezing and killing the fat cells. CoolSculpting® technology uses controlled cooling to target and kill these fat cells during the treatment, then your body has special types of white blood cells that will start to remove the treated cells over the next few days and you will naturally eliminate these cells through your lymphatic system over the next several months. CoolSculpting® results are long-term as treated fat cells are gone for good.
Your medical history will be reviewed to make sure you are an appropriate candidate for CoolSculpting®. Your provider will review all information about the treatment with you and will be able to answer any questions you may have.
Before pictures will be taken for medical documentation (after pictures will also be taken). The treatment will begin with a suction sensation as the treatment tissue is pulled with vacuum suction into the device applicator. There will be an strong cold sensation for the first few minutes but after that the treatment will become more comfortable. The treatment cycle lasts between 35-75 minutes depending on which area is being treated. Upon completion, there will be a massage on the tissue of the treated area for 2 minutes. Some mild swelling and soreness are common side effects you may experience for a few days. You will begin seeing results as soon as 30 days and have full results by approximately 90 days.

How many treatments will I need?
Studies have shown that each treatment kills approximately 20% of your fat cells in the treated area. It's generally recommended that each area receive at least 2 treatments separated by at least 30 days apart - we will have theoretically killed 40% of your fat cells at that time. We prefer to wait a minimum of 60 days after the second treatment to reevaluate your results and at that time decide if further treatments are warranted.
How much will it cost?
Each client has a different amount of fat to treat and different end-point goals. Until our provider can assess you individually we can not give an exact price; however, you can expect each treatment cycle to be approximately $500 on average ($400 - $600 is the range dependent on which applicator is being used and how many treatments are performed). Package discounts are offered.
